My journey of learning blender

This is the first time i start modelling something in blender. And the object i create today is a glass. This is my result, happy to share with everyone, who visits my website.

The steps i have done to create this glass:

  1. Add a cylinder and adjust its orientation.
  2. Go into the front view, and add some loop cuts (6 and above)
  3. Scale this loop to the shape of the glass.
  4. Use Extrude and scale to create a solid thickness.
  5. Add Modifier to smooth out the glass surface.
  6. Adding some lights and materials to the glass

Today i have modelled some other objects with increased difficulty. Here is a galery of results:


A sofa object with cloth filter, and face sets. To preserve the symmetry, the mirror modifier is used.


An Utah teapot created by me without any bump, totally smoothness and perfect geometry.

Blending a scifi cup robot. I will post a jpeg image and a lossless png image for comparsion. I don’t see any difference on my computer, maybe on a smartphone with a high-resolution you will see the difference.

A mug robot

A gummy bear but with fabric procedural woven fabric material. One image with the light, and the other without it, so you can see the pattern clearer.

A cloth bear

A gummy bear with waffle material with and without light. The goal is to make the pattern rectangle across all the bear surface but failed.

A bottle of yoghurt with uv unwrapping. This is the result after patiently following a tutorial and it looks quite impressive.
